Plans & billing
CLAUSE 01 — What exactly is FormGrid?
FormGrid is a browser-based form builder for collecting structured responses. Each plan states its form count, response allowance, fields, logic, integrations, branding, seats, and support so owners can select the workflow they actually need.
CLAUSE 03 — How does the 14-day free trial work?
The trial lasts 14 days and requires no credit card. Nothing is charged during the trial, so an owner can test the builder and publishing workflow before selecting a paid subscription.
CLAUSE 04 — How do I get access after purchase?
The demo checkout records the selected plan and the contact details entered by the buyer. After the front-end success state, the page explains that an activation code will be sent to the provided email address.
CLAUSE 07 — What's the difference between the four plans?
Plans vary by form count, response allowance, field capacity, logic tools, integrations, branding options, collaboration seats, and support level. The pricing table lists those differences directly.
CLAUSE 08 — Can I upgrade or downgrade?
Yes. Plan changes can be made through the account workflow, and billing adjustments can be handled on a prorated basis according to the subscription terms in effect when the change is made.
CLAUSE 09 — How do I cancel my subscription?
Cancellation is available from account settings with no cancellation fee. A cancelled subscription normally remains active through the current paid period rather than ending mid-cycle.
CLAUSE 10 — What is your refund policy?
We offer a full refund within 30 days of any payment, no questions asked. Refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5-7 business days.
CLAUSE 15 — What are collaboration seats?
Seats identify the people who can work inside the FormGrid workspace. Surveyor includes 5 seats, while Architect includes 15, so larger review groups can work without sharing one account.
Product & response handling
CLAUSE 02 — Do respondents need an account?
No. The normal public submission path does not require a FormGrid login. The respondent sees the form published by the owner and can submit through that public surface.
CLAUSE 05 — Does it work offline?
The editor can preserve an offline draft state in the browser, but collecting new responses requires a network connection. Live integrations and public submissions depend on the service being reachable.
CLAUSE 06 — Which browsers and devices?
The public site supports current versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox. Layouts adapt for smaller screens, while detailed form editing is generally easier on a larger display.
CLAUSE 11 — Who owns the response data?
The form owner retains ownership of collected response information. Response data belongs to the form owner. We never sell or mine your respondents' data.
CLAUSE 12 — Can I export my responses?
Export paths are available according to the workflow and plan. The response structure is designed to remain understandable outside the editor so owners can move collected data into analysis or record-keeping systems.
CLAUSE 13 — What happens if I exceed my response limit?
The response allowance is stated on each plan and should be treated as an operating constraint. When a larger monthly allowance is needed, the account can be upgraded before additional collection; the site does not describe silently deleting existing responses.
CLAUSE 14 — Do you support payment fields?
Payment fields are available on the Architect tier for workflows that need a payment step. A production payment implementation should be connected to an appropriate processor and reviewed separately before launch.
